Having spent the off season partying, the Outlaws stumbled back into the Zlurp Nation with a bit of a hangover. But, as Rark said before the game, "Da Kingz uz rook-eez. Ow ard can dey punch?"

Well, it turns out that the answer is very.

The first half saw the Orc drive stalled from the get go, as the pick up was fumbled and Necromantic wizardry floored four players, injuring poor Urk Linsch. Pressured repeatedly, Brort Eralg showed his strength and shrugged off the pursuing wolves. True to form, one of the Black Orcs stole the ball before the line, but the Outlaws still went in at the half one nil up.

Which is where things unravelled.

The second half turned violent; no fewer than five orcs were injured, including the captain, while star blitzer Brort Eralg was carted to the KO box. Outnumbered, the greenskins managed to hold onto their lead, but only four remained on the pitch by the end of the match. Between them and their opponents, there were but ten.

Rark was unavailable for a post-match comment.

Tough start for the Kings in this competition. With the help of Chaney, a chainsaw and a wizard, we believed to have good chances for a surprise. Got close to it with an attempt for blitz right at the beginning. Seeing all the orcs grouped in a pack our wizard cleaned the path for several players to reach the ball. there were occasions to score but very good defense by the orcs, and they score toward the end of the first half, leaving us time for a potential draw for the break. We miss the TD with a last hand-off that was very close.
With 3 wolves I was expecting more injuries in the first half but they were quite uneffective.
Second half we receive and start hitting harder. Several orcs are sent to the doctor but they manage to blitz our ball carrier. We get the ball back but again very good defense which forces us to take risks to be able to cover the all field with the time left. Again we got close to it after a star action led by Chaney who did a wonderfull game.

Very good game, a bit bitter to come so close to a draw, but hey excellent coaching from nazgob. The Kings will have to bring the play up in order to get me a victory. Next are Norses, see if their armor will resist :)
