However, the game ended up being very close and could have gone either way with contrasting halves.

The first half belonged clearly to the Goblins. They outbashed the Dwarfs and had the Dwarfs chasing their tail all over the pitch. The dice where kind to the Goblins with Dwarfs knocked down left and right and 3 removed from the pitch for the rest of the game. The Goblins scored in their last turn.

They would lose the Bombadier after being forced to setup for a turn 8 for the Dwarfs but low and behold, a bribe! Luck was certainly on the Goblins side first half.

As it turned out, the Bomadier fumbled twice and did nothing 2nd half!

Second have started with 10 vs 8, Goblin advantage! The Goblins luck which had been soo good, changed for the normal and they couldn't stop the Dwarfs scoring.

With half of the 2nd half left, score 1-1, Goblins to receive, 9 Goblins vs the 8 Dwarfs. The Goblins setup favouring one side and the kickoff was a disaster that could have cost the match. The kick fell at the front, on the side the Goblins weren't setup on, the worst possible spot combined with the resulting Blitz!

The Dwarfs surrounded the ball with 3 tackle zones and the situation looked Grim to say the least. Some desperation dodging from the Goblins saw a 2d on the Dwarf runner and thank goodness he went down. The Dwarfs had a last shot with some luck needed, but it wasn't to be and the game ended with the 1-1 draw.

Fun match, and one the Goblins were disappointed after the first half to get a draw, but one in which at the start of the game, and after the Blitz they were very happy to get a draw!”
