“facing an very experienced orc team, with loads of piling on, I did not really expect to even compete in this game going in. Developed Orc teams are better, in general, than developed dwarf teams. Seeing as I was down over 300TV, I went with 2 wandering apothes, a babe and a magic card.

Early on, it was going about as expected, tho the wandering apoth did keep a guy from -AV and back in the game in the 2nd half! (tho the 2nd one did not save my 2nd runner from a niggling injury later on). Add in a couple of KO's and I was playing down players. However, I managed to knock the ball loose on 2 or 3 consecutive turns, eventually getting it out so that Tim could get in grab the ball and pass it down field. Even tho the Orcs got back there and knocked the ball loose, I was able to get Tim down to steal the ball away and score the TD on turn 8.

Both of my KO's came back, his one did not, but with both teams having deep benches, it was still 11 on 11 for the 2nd half. This half saw the ball deep down field on both side a couple of times, as we both jockied to score and/or get the ball out of the scrum that was the middle of the pitch. Not often you see a dwarf team, even one with an agility 4 and an agility 5 player, complete 4 passes in one game! Still, the end result was the ball out of reach of everyone, and no team scoring in the 2nd half.

no new skills, Longlegs will miss then next one recovering from his injuries.
