“It was time for these lovely ladies to have their first run in with a Chaos Pact team. I knew that they would not be able to out muscle the combined force of a troll, an ogre, and a minotaur, so we would just have to out play them. So we lined up, surprised to see all three of their big guns standing there on the line of scrimmage, and even more surprised by star player Zzharg Madeye who showed up for today's match, in the backfield. A high kick came in with Zzharg bobbling the catch, the big guys knocked some girls down, and the pact started setting up. We wasted no time, flooding into their side of the field, stunning their leading marauder and skaven renegade, knocking another marauder unconscious, and getting away from that mess at center field. All three big guys failed their rolls, and the pact had no choice but to set up a cage around the ball, which we quickly surrounded. In an amazing maneuver, a desperate pass was made and caught by the ogre, with the mino stepping in to stop us from getting a hand and the ogre. Corinne came in with a judo chop, taking out another marauder, but we failed to get in between the ogre and the endzone, as he took of running. However, a failed block attempt by the renegade elf gave us back our chance to catch up to the ball. With some assists, Amber came dodging in with a blitz, knocking the ogre to the pitch, setting the ball loose. The skaven leveled Margaret with a block, but in the process, knocked the ball into Amber's awaiting hands, as she quickly made her way towards the goal line. With the rest of the team dodging in to set up a wall behind her, there was no way for the pact to stop Amber from racing forward and handing to ball over to Becky Slater, for the touchdown. We lined back up for one more push before the end of the half, with the pact out for blood. They threw several blocks, but could not injure any of the girls, not even with the foul thrown by their clawed goblin. In their frenzy to disable this team they extended themselves too far, leaving these girls with just enough time to set up and throw a block against the mino who had but himself in the danger zone. Becky S. followed up last turn's touchdown by knocking the mino down, and inflicting an injury. Having all ready used their apothecary earlier in the match, the pact was forced to watch the meat wagon cart off one of their big guns for the rest of the match. Score 1-0, at the half.

The second half, outnumbering the pact 10 to 8, and a short kick dropped in on us midfield in a widezone. The girls barely waited for the ball to hit the pitch before they were off, heading downfield, taking down pact members. Another judo chop by Corinne removed a marauder for the remainder of the match, as Amanda knocked the skaven renegade unconscious with a blitz, all while holding the ball. Love a girl who can multitask. The pact sent in their troll and two of the marauders to stop the advancing 'zon fleet, but a block thrown by Karen took the troll off of his feet, and we shifted towards the center of the field. The pact ogre made a valiant attempt to catch up with Amanda, but fell in the process, smashing his collar bone. The next turn we celebrated our second touchdown.

The pact was outnumbered 11 to 7 as they received the ball, forming a cage around it at midfield. But the girls swarmed in, using their can opener technique, knocking the ball free. Another block took care of the troll left guarding the ball, as Karen grabbed up the ball and ran off for the endzone. With the wall between themselves and the ball carrier, and with too few players on the field, the pact could only watch a another nail was driven into the coffin. Even their last attempt to foul a pron linewoman failed, as the ref spotted the attempt. Double whistle blown, final, 3-0.

The die were not kind to coach veganpower in this match. Crucial big guy rolls failed when they were needed most. Tough break. Rematch, any time you ask.”
