“Heat totally changed the game. Losing 5 players to heat gave the norse an easy TD - and with less players on the field, just a few dice decided the game - as the heat reduced elves were cleared from the pitch by turn 4 of the second half...stupid weather.”

“Weird match.
Norse received first, but were quickly overrun by the Woodies who took the ball and scored for 1-0. Heat mean't that 5 woodies were out, versus 3 Norse, so there Norse were able to score for 1-1 at the end of the half.
Second half though it was 8 players versus 8 and the Wood Elves were receiving, so it was looking bad for the Norse. However, everything changed in a couple of key turns. Wood Elves went for a foul and got sent off, then the next turn a Wood Elf Loner did a key 2D block and got both downs KO himself. The Norse wiped out 2 more Elves from Blocks and suddenly it was 8 versus 4, leaving the Norse to chase the remaining Wood Elves from the pitch.
At 1-0 it looked bad, at 1-1 it didn't look good either, but the Wood Elf sending off and the Loner failed block handed victory to the Norse.”
