My elves came into the game expecting a high scoring close game. However a failed first half drive and unlucky second half cost them any chance they had to win.

I took the kickoff. I sent my men downfield but my formation was a bit messed up. I should have setup to protect my ball carrier from a blitz. Anyway I was blitzed and lost the ball. In turn 2 I was unable to recover. Turn 3 I blitzed the ball carrier but he was well protected in case of a knockdown. Turn 4 the ball was in their hands and I didn't have a chance anymore as I had committed to many men downfield and they scored rather easily. 1-0 half.

I got blitz but the ball landed in the hands of the other team without a good blitz on the guy catching the ball. He threw to an open catcher. I started failing rolls and he scored rather easily making it 2-0. He got blitz next turn and got the ball as I failed a dodge to get to the ball. He scored shortly after 3-0.

A couple guys got injured but the game was over anyway.

GG well played. I didn't play very well and the dice didn't help.”
