“Nothing more than sheer odds going against the poor elves in every way after turn 1 for the first half.
After losing WarDancer, opposition became too cocky and happy, but when 1 rolls of many failed after leaving susceptible and vulnerable ball carriers due to poor/no cages and hyper extending, the necromantic team failed to score. In the second half this was quite the very same, with the big tree using his mighty blow to draw the elves first blood.
Despite 4 fouls > all unspotted > all KO'ing or better with 2+ for armor every time, the necromantic side still felt they were "unlucky" in comparison after getting a fair dose of 1s as the elves had got. 2 dice blocks dominated the 2nd half with the crafty positioning of the woodies and left necromantics to fall 1-0.
