“With the Norse team scoring fairly early, I felt confident in getting an opportunity to equalise in the first half. Unfortunately double skulls in the first block caused a turnover and easilyamused played brilliantly, punishing my newbie mistake of not protecting the ball first, and scored 2-0 before half time.

In the second half I played offensively, scored early and then aggressively tried to get the ball. The Norse coach outmanoeuvred me and went for 3-1, but with some luck I managed to hit the ball carrier just before he could score. By this point Yellow Snow Eaters had started to lose a lot of players. Having had several players knocked out, four badly hurt and two deaths there was nothing my fine opponent could do to prevent me from scoring the equaliser.”
