An unwise decision to go with 2 babes and the bomber came back to haunt me as the bomber was never available the moments where a wizard could have been a game changer and all the KOs came back first time. Oh, and Dribblesnot got the MVP.

Trailing 0-1 in the 2nd half, the lads got a ticking off at half time and came out menacingly. Siemon would have had 2 kill notches on his scabbard but for the intervention of the opposing apothecary.

The dark elf renegade did its usual trick of being knocked over any time it mattered, its dodging ability questionable. Just when the orcs looked ready to seal the game, Siemon made a crazy dodge and surfed the blitzer with the ball and rescued the draw.

---------

The casualties were on my side for sure, but that was 2nd half. I was bemoaning my defense being undone by good orc block dice vs poor pact block dice (the 2D on the ball springs to mind, sandwiched inbetween a boatload of orc 1D and 2D POWer).

---------

I normally write reports. I didn't actually bemoan the dice in the report. Over the balance of the game, it was very kind to me (casualties, lucky blitz) but that particular drive you got away with things a little bit because you went on a knockdown rampage whereas I was shoving (the ball!) and picking up players. I wanted to win just as much as you.

Regarding the POWs: I could roll 10 POW POWs in a row. Then I could roll pushes the rest of the game. I'd lose that game. Those 10 POW POWs would not be lucky. They'd just be a good sequence of positive results in a standard situation.

Don't over ananlyse an individual dice roll. It's patterns that matter. Sometimes the patters are vicious (constant knockdowns, armour passes). Sometimes they are just plain unfair (snakes, skulls). Sometimes they are useless (pushes, both downs). Usually it's a mix.

Plus you're focusing on my dice. What about the fact you POWed the blodge every time? Etc.

----------

You're not rubbing me up the wrong way. I'd be annoyed if I were you at the cas rate.

And it is par for the course. I love my whine.

#7 Jogug Rat Licker – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
#12 Krog Lugbug – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
#13 Grag Crotch-Krunch – Dead (RIP)
I think this is a classic case of coaches seeing the game differently.

Receiving the ball I successfully completed a 7 turn grind and score, however despite the natural attacking impetus I was unable to inflict any lasting damage to the opposition. Chainsaw was bemoaning his poor dice during the half, however I didn't see any real "Luck F**k" and to support this we both started the 2nd half with our full "natural team".

The 2nd half was extremely one sided. I lost 3 players as can be seen above and if memory serves correct the Pact rolled 5 double Pows in the 2nd half alone with Orcs struggling all over the pitch.

Despite the aforementioned issues, Pact over committed in pressurising the thrower and a clear break was available along the bottom sideline. However a lone Marauder completed a 5+ dodge (after re-roll) and then rolled one of the many pow/pow's to surf an Orc. Even after these heroics the ball still was open to the score but the dice didn't hold for the Orcs.

Again I stand by my initial synopsis, this is a game that the 2 coaches would have seen differently. As evidence: 1/14 v 1/71 is the block casualty rate.... Showing the Pact were over 5 times better at Blocking-Cas.

Watch and make your own mind up.

-------------

So I just watched the game again to see if I was missing the facts. This is what I saw: I did 10 1D blocks throughout the game... only one was an out right Pow, less than you would expect, so I think you would agree that is not against expectations.

Secondly yes the casualties happened 2nd half, but I barely scratched you either half, so that comment seems null and void to me, especially when we consider your block/casualty rate was OVER FIVE times better!

Thirdly you failed a 2D Block against a guy with block.... Unfortunate, but it happens, not a huge surprise either.

Thirdly you rolled 5 Pow/Pow's out of 20 2nd half blocks (approx)... That is insane, including the final block of the game that meant I couldn't win.... oh and that was a -2D Block let's not forget.

I don't generally write reports, I have no idea whether you normally do. I really do think that you should watch this again and realise that you had no need to be complaining about dice rolls in this match.

I enjoyed the game, I thought I was going to win and then was happy to settle for a draw and then was shocked I didn't win.

-----------

I think you're forgetting that whilst you don't complain about dice in the initial report you do in your 2nd and 3rd and more importantly through out the whole game. I was struggling to find things to say to cheer you up during the game (although there really was no tough luck to deal with).

I'm not sure if this is how you play and talk normally, maybe this is par for the course? All I'm responding with is that the "patterns" (or bare facts) that I see, actually show that a lot went for you.... To the point that I felt up against "it".

Regarding your Elf I know you're unhappy about him getting knocked over, you repeatedly complained about him both against me and in the match prior that I watched.

I don't mind a bit of bemoaning here and there but I really think you should watch the game again and check out the blocking stats above.

(without wanting to sound like I'm trying to rub you up the wrong way, if you rolled 10 pow/pows in a row and killed all 10 I think you wouldn't lose.... for example)

I look forward to the re-match. :)
