Turn 4 Half 2, Maka sees the ball laying on the ground between the sidelines and a skeleton. She dodges out of a tackle zone. Sees the sideline and the ball and gets a little shaky on the pickup. (RR saved) Two more dodges and she is sprinting for the endzone. First GFI complete. Second GFI (which was out of blitz zone and 1 spot away from td) falls down and gets stunned. Next turn all the skeletons run towards the ball, pick it up, and march down the field to the game winner.
A series of 1's and failed dodges curse the Elves after Maka falls. Seems like it was the beginning of the end. Medusa got smashed by a Tomb Guardian for the RIP, lucky apo saved her. (I'm just as surprised as you.)

The Embalmers went into this one with mixed expectations. Elfs of all stripes are generally a troublesome enterprise for any Khemri team; since Feather's injury had left the team with a crippled tackler, this game felt as though it could end in disaster.
Happily though, Eater continued his smashing form, and the newfound agility of Adored kept the Embalmers on top, even when the Delfs looked like stealing a win (yay for snakes!)
