“The rats came out strong 1st half, electing to receive they viciously repelled the chaos players who were rushing their lines. Alas, fatigue inevitably set in and the Bloodletters assumed control of the pitch hounding the ball carrier at every turn, still the gutter runners kept their nerve and stalled out the half.

In a last ditch effort Bill Kill made a heroic blitz into the rats' nest but he could not bring down his target. Baron Allen channelled the team's frustrations onto an unfortunate linerat before the ref called the half.

The Cheesers weren't done yet, keeping their momentum from 1st half they blitzed on kick off stealing the ball and dodging right through chaos lines to flood the backfield. The Bloodletters barely recovered the ball but it proved to be enough as the gutter runners tripped like chumps twice resulting in 3 rats joining the crowd and the Bloodletters securing the ball.

The rats, knowing they had no chance in a fair fight, played dead but when the Bloodletters started stomping on them they rushed past the lynch mob, chasing the ball. Their efforts fell just short every time though until the very end when the ball was knocked loose on a kamikaze blitz. Luckily Hot Rod showed his worth grabbing the ball and scoring the teams first touchdown.

And so the classic brutes vs ballers match up ended with the somewhat predictable 1-1 score.”
