Griefers won the toss and got to receive.
Turn 1 We held our shape and picked up the ball succesfully, while the rats sent both GR's into our half to pressure. That threat was subdued and we were able to cage safely. By turn 5 however we were still in our half and the rats attacked the cage. We were unlucky on turn 6 to not break free (double skull when we only needed a push)and things were looking bad.
Thankfully the GR failed his dodge and the mad scramble that ensued continued until the end of the half.
2nd half, 0-0 and rats receiving - uh oh!
We tried to contain them with DP a bit but on turn 2 a GR made a 5+ pass to his mate. A Nurgle warrior 3db him and Aesthetic Goat made the pick up - looking good! Sadly on turn 3 I made a maybe unnecessary block with a NW which resulted in both down and let the Skaven in for an easy 2db and GR recovery.
This meant we were 1-0 down with only 4 turns to equalize - and a perfect defence did not help our lopsided set up!
Thankfully by this point the skaven were out of RR and failed a gfi to put a TZ on my ballcarrier. A pass and run later and we had the ball in their half with part of a cage. They were able to dodge to one dice us on turn 7 but turn 8 they failed the dodge and it finished a very respectable draw.
