“What a closing game for the Chain Breakers first season in Naggaroth!

First half

Chain Breakers receive. Likhut gracefully catches the too high kick, but then a lot goes wrong. Big Dumb One fails his first block on the LOS and suddenly the Dark Elves are all over the place, deep in the Chain Breakers half even. The renegades knock two of them out to clear the path, but Likuth refuses to pass the ball in an attack of sudden animosity. The team falls back to protect her and the ball, but Atidrit Silentboar manages to knock her straight out. The second blitzer tries to secure the ball, but grabs it at the wrong angle and stabs himself with its spikes. The Chain Breakers struggle and with all the marauders pretty tight up, Chain Breaker himself tries to pick up the ball but fails. Squeaky goes down and has to be dragged off the pitch, hardly noticed since at the same time a mighty roar thunders over the field: "HUKON!" The minotaur takes up speed, shoves a puny Dark Elf blitzer into the ground and - picks up the ball! "Hukon!"
Both teams stand in awe of the creature as it slowly stomps all the way down towards the opposing endzone. The players from both teams start to run: Elves trying to get hold of the colossus, Chain Breakers striving to prevent this. Hukon knocks down opponents left and right, even pushes a blitzer into the crowd - and just before the half time whistle runs it over the goal line!

The crowd goes wild, fans surge the pitch. Barely noticed in the riots, both apothecaries have their work cut out: While the Dark Elf manages to bring back his team's star blitzer Silentboar (who took a nasty, almost deadly boot to the head by Yok Elfslayer when he was hold back earlier by a couple of marauders), his Chain Breakers colleague stands baffled over the smashed body of Squaky, not able to deal with the Skaven anatomy. R.I.P. crazy rat!
Only seconds later, Big Dumb One carries another body off the pitch: Yok Elfslayer has payed the ultimate price for his foul as he was killed by Dark Elf lineman Ahoaz Cavernraven. Not a good day for the team apothecary.

Second half

Ongoing riots delay the second half's start. The elves push hard for a quick touchdown, going heavily over one side. But Chain Breaker tosses Gkuxr into the ball-carrying blitzer's way and Likuth presses him towards the sideline and the bloodthirsty crowd beyond it. The Dark Elves screw up and their renegade opponent kicks the ball carrier into the crowd with a twisted smile. But for some reason, the spectators spare him and simply throw the ball back into the scrum. Hukon grabs an opposed lineman and smashes him onto the ball, Big Dumb One blitzes away another. Likuth can pick up the ball and run. While the Dark Elves put hard pressure on her, she still manages to escape, screened by ogre, troll and goblin. Somehow the super-agile blitzer Emeav slips through their grasp though and manages to knock the renegade out again. Game on!
With the time running out, Seventh Watchtower needs to apply some risky passing play, but before they can even get close to it, their designated receiver knocks himself out right in the Chain Breakers' endzone. Game over.
