“I have no idea how I won this.

On my drive it started badly then got worse. When a zombie smacked it's head against a wight as the first action of 2nd turn, F-Haus had easy access to the Coat [with the ball] and it looked like 0-1 and a big step towards a win for Rumanski. Then the game went into crazy mode.

In a flash both F-Haus wolves were off the pitch (1 surfed, 1 pombed) and their pomber too. The team kept failing other actions so couldn't score but then a huge end to the half with 2 casualties left it 10 vs 10 for the 2nd half and no wights for Rumanski.

The 2nd half was more of the same, with failing the order of the day. First both golems hit both downs for F-Haus, opening up a path towards the wolves. Then Landlady faceplanted a go for it to blitz, and a gang foul took out the Palm. The wizard, guess what, failed, only dropping 1 of 5 players. In retrospect, this was a success! That prone wolf then needed a go for it to blitz the Coat - and fell over.

Fortunately for me I have the Coat - first he swiped the ball off the super agile wolf Maltö, then passed it to the clear Landlord. Sadly the wight isn't on the same level and dropped the ball. The wolves got back for F-Haus but then Landlady atoned for her earlier faceplant and brought Maltö down again. The Coat ran half the pitch to steal and score.

3 turns left to defend but the heat was getting to everybody. The Coat sat out the final drive, Maltö failed the pick up, leaving a pass to a ghoul as the only option to equalize. Then Maltö failed a go for it, then the ghoul failed a go for it to seal the loss.

Both teams will have far better days. It was a funny game though.”
