#90 () – Dead (RIP)
As estranged to the Dwarf homeland as the Orcs, the Chaos Dwarfs finally overcame their fear of day light and chose to meet the Raiders on the pitch. A bad mistake, it looked like! The sun burnt down without mercy. Feeling the uncertainty this caused to the Bull Centaurs, the Raiders put up pressure quickly. But while they initially demonstrated severe weaknesses in handling the ball, the blocking skills of the dwarfen backbone showed superior quality. After finally picking up the ball, Stompy was able to outrun the Raider backfield to comfortably score in turn 6.
Dizzy from the heat, some of the Scavengers decided to take a break. But while the Orcs were still trying remember the coach instructions how to score in two turns, the rest of the team took its chance and performed a surprisingly swift blitz action, basically destroying all hopes of an equalizing touchdown in the first half.
The unexpected and rarely experienced quantities of day light again caused some of the Scavengers to fade before the second half. Outnumbering their opponents, the Orcs were able to control the pitch and scored so fast that their thrower, Trorbash Strongarm, nearly coughed his lungs out.
Now facing the other direction, it had clearly become a mistake that Dorp the Smart and Krushag Skullsmasher had decided to play without any protective eye wear. Half-blind they ran into each other while cheering for the touchdown and had to stay out - dramatically increasing the chances for the Chaos Dwarfs to get into the lead again.
At this point happened what is normally the case when two heavily-armored teams clash into each other. The unfortunate team mates without the proper body protection get caught between the fronts. Here, the Hobgoblins, whose numbers quickly diminished. With the dwarf blockers busy handling the Orcs, Bull Centaur Thumper had to dangerously expose himself to save a chance for a touchdown. The Orcs took advantage, freed the ball, but failed the final hand-off for the winning touchdown.
