After being dumped out of the FC XII, the team was on a mission.

There was little Valhalla Thirteen could do as norse warriors disappeared from the field at an alarming rate. Rumours of a bull headed beast and a fire snake probably did little to quell dissent in the ranks as the Palm cuts them down to size and zombies with torches chase down the rest.

With few left, a desperate pass is attempted. Sing the flesh golem is in the way, and intercepts it! (The rookie golem's 2nd interception as well.) Already having claimed a norse scalp, the creature wants to make history and chucks the ball to the Coat before demanding it returned. Sing scores and goes down as one of few, perhaps even the first, flesh golems to score a Larson.

Cavetroll was a very good sport in a one sided game.

The team has now horded over a million in gold.

#4 Edgtho the Silent – Fractured Leg (MNG)
#5 Rethel the Archer II – Gouged Eye (MNG)
#6 Haltaf the Boy II – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#7 Roneth the Horseman III – Dead (RIP)
#11 Herger the Joyous II – Broken Neck (-AG)
#13 Ahmed ibn Fahdlan – Serious Concussion (-AV)
Skeld - She was a smoke colored camp girl, probably looked like that one's mother. <laughs>
Ahmed ibn Fahdlan - <in the northmen's language> My mother, was a pure woman. And at least I know who my father was, you pig-eating son of a whore!
Herger <after intervening between the two> - How did you learn our language?
Ahmed ibn Fahdlan <standing up to face them> - I LISTENED!

And so Ahmed learned something today. And Ragnar the Dour. The rest of the Valhalla Thirteen learned that the creatures from the Pig Sty Alley are not of this world. They are definitely NOT men.

(In spite of the horrendous results, this was quite a fun game. I've been thinking about playing Chainsaw's PSA for a while now, and figured since we both got knocked out of the FC this was as good a time as any.

I feel like an honorary Charioteer now. This is going to be a challenging rebuild. But the northmen are up for the challenge. Hopefully against something softer next game. Like jello-men, or whipped cream monsters, or toilet paper golems. Yeah, something like that.)
