This game is–– without question––– the single most one-sided, spectacular failure I have every been a part of.
Lizards could not block, could not GFI, or stay on their feet. They could not even wake up to play. So many failed Foul Appearance rolls, so much Lizard armor broken. The Nurgle Powed on nearly every block, at one point roll 4 POW/POW in a single turn (Nope, no 'Defender Stumbles', in there.)
Apart from an unskilled Rotter rolling a Skull against the Krox in a 1-die desperation block on turn 1,
the lizards rolled 46 Blocks, and they managed to break armor exactly 1 time... against a Rotter... for a stun.
Coach JanusGenius did some things that–– in my naïveté–– I thought were quite risky, such as generous helping of 2-Die blocks without block... with no reroll... when a saurus was marking the ball. But Nuffle spoke, and let all 34 blocks get through without hinderance.
I can only hope I have payed my dues for a long, long time...
