A match played with lack of concentration by the team, which probably was too confused by the awful appearance of the mutated rats and goblins. A lot of easy dodges failed, touchdowns not scored because the unability of just picking up the ball...

The coach is quite angry about today's gameplay, but at least nobody has been injured and there are some new achievements, not all of them good:
- Oskar, the fan favourite, made the first interception ever, in a play that could have ended in a TD if he hadn't missed following pass.
- 17.000 fans attended the match, in a new record, with a total gate of 31000 people, a new record too.
- This is the first time ever that the whole team gets knocked out or badly hurt out of the pitch.

Nice match hahaha, thanks! I'd like Sneezarr Skeeth to die a little, though :D

An Elf blitz right off the bat put us in an extremely sketchy situation. We were vulnerable to it from poor positioning which allowed the dodgy little Elf suckers to get right through our single line. Two agi 5 pointy eared monsters and a lot of good positioning made this one tough.

Still, the boys wizened up and got doing what they like doing best: getting in a ruck with things that might not bash the living crap out of them.

The Elves (tut tut!) opened up the fouling in this one, on our "poor" "harmless" CPOMB blitzer Sneezar Skeeth. Shameless! And then a tiny little foul in response from Papa Dop resulted in an early bath. It turned out after the game that the ref had very point ears indeed!

In truth, we got extremely lucky. A 2+ pickup 2+ dodge for an elf that would have resulted in a score from the blitz ended in an MNG (saved by apo) for a catcher. Another 2+ in a later turn was all that would have been needed to allow the Elves to get the elusive first touchdown.

Manjo "Moustache" made some amazing sidestepping defensive plays that shouldn't go unmissed. A big shout out for Double Up, the much-maligned troll, who went for the whole game without failing a really stupid roll and actually made use of his tentacles for a change.

In the second half, the Warp Thirteens turned up the heat. They started it off with a retaliatory blitz. Sneezar Skeeth blasted an elf out of the game with a lovely KO. Wrestling strip-baller Skleet Chittersnatch burst through onto the intended receiver.

Again, the Elves got unlucky with a 1,1 catch roll and so the Thirteens get stuck into another tasty ruck. A failed dodge KOed agi 5 guard catcher to the delight of the Thirteens fans.

Then, over the space of two turns, the rest of the Elf team melted away. Two KO fouls and three(?) well-worked KO blocks led to this coach's first ever full pitch clear. Loverly juberly.

At any rate, we scored quickly (and probably mistakenly - there was a chance to let Skar Loftelob bag a completion and finally secure his first skillup after what feels like a billion games). But at least Skleet grabs his third skill with the td.

In the final moments, we look all set to get a second td but clutch Elf defence results in an interception leading into a failed pass. We can't make the epic full pitch td to finish the game in glory.

Still, our boys will be happy with the performance all the same.

Sneezar Skeeth is a big softy really :). He only managed a few KOs ^^. Far more dangerous to your team in this game were your own dodges :D!

Thanks for the game mate.
