“One of the reasons I started coaching skaven teams is that my dwarves always seemed to have a lot of trouble with Skaven. This game is a shining example of it. The Dwarves could do little wrong, while the skaven could not do their thing
1st half, I stalled out to score on turn 8. Luckily for me, I was taking them off the pitch well, and only 6 were there to start the OTTD try. This failed when they could not pick up the ball.
2nd half, I was up 10 players to 9, but the OTTD was still on the table..and almost worked, but for a 1rr1 on the last GFI to score (darn that trip wire at the EZ). I was able to get back to the ball and get it to Long Legs, who proceeded to march down the pitch with little trouble as I bottled the Skaven up mid-field and kept taking them off the pitch. I finally scored on turn 8 for the 2-0 win.
3 fouls this game, all of them caught by the ref. Both of mine took players off the pitch (KO and BH IIRC) while his stunned someone.
Longlegs gets +1 ST, while Jumpstart declines to take +MA/+AV to instead learn guard. ”
