In honor of his 123rd match, Cranston decided to play a little trick on me–– he would "play dumb" for the first 6 turns of the game, falling on his face, going Bone-Head, and costing us a defensive Touchdown to the Khemri (a rare thing in its own right).
Then, for the rest of the game, he would be show us how lost we were without him. AND SHOW US HE DID. After screening some skinks for a lucky return TD on turn 8, that Krox was planted on the LOS for the next drive, and managed to tie up all four opposing Tomb Guardians, for 5 straight turns, refusing to fall over or budge through 23 block dice. Grab Wächter almost recovered, but the Lizards had a POW up their sleeves that they'd been saving, and we managed to make a defensive TD of our own on turn 6. Thanks to more Cranston power, they were unable to equalize.
Khemri got hosed in the second half. They deserved the win!”
