Very fun game. Lots of interesting fail moments. I received, took the shot at his clawpomber, and did not succeed. The first foul on my guy who po'd did work (ko). A few punches later I still had enough control to score, but had lost too much control to score turn 8 (especially because the wiz was still in). A bit of misfortune (dskull using reroll, then gfi fail) led to a score by the nurgle first half.

I tried to get good pressure going, diving tacklers on the ball and such, but I got my guy surfed instead. Then, blitzing the ball and aiming for a push, I rerolled 2x both down into another dskull, giving the nurgles some breathing room. Nevertheless, some no less bad luck on easilyamused's part allowed me to take the ball (and even make a cheeky ballcarrier-foul). The Nurgle's rubbish fireball didn't help any. So I got out clear. All I needed was a 2die blitz with the ball to disconnect from the nurgle warrior who had dodged and made 2 gfis to seek my carrier out... cue dskull # 3! Looked like overtime, but... turn 16 still to go. No reroll, no easy options, just loads of dice.

My mino refused to blitz the guy marking the ball. I neededa 3+ dodge with 2 gfis to get my beast in the endzone. Check; good. Now I just needed a dodge with a warrior, then a 4+ pickup, another dodge, a gfi, a 3+ pass, and a 3+ catch. All of which happened. Didn't even need the dodge skill reroll.

Somehow, when clawpomb chaos face off against clawpomb nurgle, you don't think it's the chaos' reroll-less turn 16 passing in-tacklezone ballplay that will determine the outcome... what a turn!
