“FUMBBL Black Cup VII Round 3
Anticipation was high before our match against the greatest player on Fumbbl of all times, mighty debog. We went for the quick score then hit with our Wizard and tried to decide the game there and then, but took too much of a gamble when our pass was intercepted. Gave it a good fight, and Zara had the opportunity she had been waiting for, to stab debog right between the shoulder blades. Alas, she botched it. Half time was 1-1, Wizard gone and looking meak.
But second half things started coming together. Zara removed some Vamps, we put some pressure on the ball and managed to set the mighty Vampire up for our hitter, Boy George, who made a point of BREAKING HIS NECK. Apoth couldn't help this time, and thus the game was decided and the crowd went wild. Rise Like a Phoenix proceed to round 4!
