“WoC VII: Favoured Of Khorne Round 1

48 blocks...4 double skulls and one skull. I could not compete with rolls like that..especially when 3 of the double skulls came on blocks 18, 20 and 23.

1st half the elves kicked off to me, but quickly were able to get the ball (I tried a pass that didn't work and the ball was on the ground at the start of turn 2). They scored by turn 4. Then on my next drive, Turns 5, 6 and 7 ended with double skulls. I never even came close to picking up the ball.

2nd half was more of the same, though not as many double skulls..but plenty of I throw 2dbs and get pushes (even with a rr).they throw 1db's and get my players down every time (almost). Just frustrated with the game--and it made me play worse and worse as the game went on. I was so frustrated that I fouled a couple of times late in the game, when I could not threaten to stop their 3rd score..(it did 'pay off' in that Sister Anisari is MNG and my runner got thrown out, thus saving him from possible injury)....Of course, my turn 8 ended on a double skull.

Oh, I suck at buying inducements. If I get an Apothecary, no injuries, but KO's don't recover. If I get Bloodwiser babes, I get injuries but no KO's. (I don't have much to complain about here..only one KO against me in the game. He didn't recover after the 1st score, but recovered after the 2nd).
