“Wow. A slow steady cage by the haflings tried to stall but was forced to score on turn 5 of the 1st half as the treemen took root whilst laying down... In return the humans opened the first half with 4 3 dice blocks that didn't knockdown a single fling. At this point it was looking bad, really bad for Happenstance and Circumstance, then Big Fisher Mitt took the game (well the flings) by the scruff of the neck killing one and seriously injuring another, still it wasn't enough for to get an equaliser before the whistle as the ball appeared to be covered in fling blood or another greasy substance (what were flings eating on the pitch).

Merry Tedevivre made 11 fouls before getting beaten up by the very unhappy humans, possibly because the ref was so busy eating the creampie provided by the halfling head coach.

Then the humans galvanised and by the end of the 2nd half 10 fings were out including 4 badly hurt a serious injury and a death. It was all too little too late however as first a failed pickup, then a failed throw, then a failed catch (3 turns of the half :-() which left the ball by the remaining active treeman which resulted in the ogre and treeman duking it out to no avail (both down so another turn), then a failed dodge on the thrower (another turn and finally a failed pick up in the TZ of the treeman ended the game with the flings the depleted but worthy winners.

Credit to my opponent for keeping the pressure on me, even when one of his treeman took root and his only players were a treeman and 2 flings.”
