#2 Ser Goldtooth The Mighty – Fractured Leg (MNG)
What a game.
Ser Goldtooth breaks a leg after making his only block and has to miss the next one. Ungniana then trips while dodging, to even the numbers. Flinthammer and his Roller then crushed Fortare to give the Hobos the man advantage.

Then the first half turned into a bloody mess all around. The ball hit the ground, and the elves managed a steal. Gricknash then speared Ailahton, leaving nothing but a smear on the pitch. The struggle for the ball resumed, until finally, Richfjord was able to pick it up at the last second to score. By rule, High and Mighty Low would then get one untimed turn at the end of the half, as they had kicked to begin the game. The Hobos were ready for anything, and then blitzed on the kickoff leaving the elves very little options as time expired.

The second half was a completely different style of game. The elf team was pushed to score quickly, as they often are against more violent teams. On the ensuing kick, the elves perfectly placed the ball on the Dwarven goal line, and a blitz gave them good position to play on the ball. Harkon moved to secure the ball, but his nerves got the better of him. One play later and the elves had taken a 2-1 lead.

The Hobos still had a quarter of the match left to score.

Once again, the elves perfectly kicked the ball to the dwarven endzone, but the Hobos were quick off the ball. Thinking it couldn't possibly stay in a second time, the dwarves advanced as the ball fluttered to the ground, and bounced in bounds. Once more, Harkon went back to secure it, this time with ease as the elves were nowhere near.

On the next turn, he launched a beautiful pass to put Richfjord in scoring position. Once again the elves fought back, and the ball came loose. On the ensuing turn of the clock, Ser Grimskull pushed Finnon into the ball twice in a frenzy, knocking the ball into the crowd. The throw in heavily favored the dwarves. Finally, Gricknash secured the ball, then handed it over to Richfjord, who raced to the endzone with a screen of Harkon and Dor'Iron behind him. One last ditch effort by the elves failed to cause a fumble, and the crowd erupted in a raucous cheer as Richfjord crossed the end line to score as time expired. The game would end in a tie.

Great game mate, think we pushed each other to the limits of our skills. Been a while since I had to fight that hard for a tie.

Looking at the dice, my only complaint would be the number of skulls my opponent rolled. For the number of blocks he made, he had as many skulls as I did. Not normally something to complain about, but when he threw almost half as many blocks as I did, it seems excessive. Other than that, the dice were about as even for two teams as I've seen in a game.
