“The Black Watch's first game in over 4 years (4 years and ~2 months), and they started off strong. Blizzard kept the snots in check and after some narrow scrapes we were able to hold off until T8 to score. Had to use the apothecary early on a BH to Frick Franzson, so when Sven got his arm fractured there wasn't much we could do. The Veganz boots got quite a few KOs and a CAS, but the Ogre fists did most of the damage. We started the 2nd half with only 10 players but the Veganz quickly got into trouble with double skulls and a scrum on the ball carrier. We got the ball loose, but then I had a moment of doubt in Buliwyf's abilities and opted for a handoff instead. Normally Ivar could make a catch in the rain, but the reroll was used on the Dauntless roll. In hindsight, I definitely should have tried to blitz Ivan free and then let him and Ivar both run away with the ball. Hopefully Buliwyf won't hold a grudge against me.

The funniest moment came in T16 when not a single one of my KOs came back. With 2 m8 Runners, 1 with Sure Hands and 1 with Sidestep plus a reroll, I had a decent chance of getting a 1 turn score. Sadly, the only two players to take the pitch were Hanz and Buliwyf - both Ag1 players! And to add insult to injury, the final kickoff event was a riot which stunned all 3 snots on the LOS. Buliwyf moved into position to make a catch, but Hanz couldn't pick up the ball.
