My humans managed a few 'so close!' moments, which was the aim of the game after a disastrous first half. Nuffle decided to gift me a touchdown back, which started a shortened CD drive with my wizard still intact.

Both teams had a blitz, both teams scored off said Blitz. Timetis played well and managed to hold the wizard until late in the 2nd half. The Lightning Bolt worked, but the ball was pretty well surrounded and after a few nervous turns we got it back and managed to secure it for a T8 score. Then the Contenders got a Quick Snap on the T16 kick but without rerolls they didn't get the pushes they needed and ended up skulling out. A very tight game, and that TD from Bus dropped me into 3rd place. The CAS were also pretty light, with my 2 best hitters still sitting just a few SPP away from their next skill. But I got a TD and a skill on Enmerkaurochs which should help for the next game.
