“CIBBL First Season Winter Friendlies

Don Enrique was outraged. A mob of the frenzied fanatics of Khorne arrived in Montetriste and issued an open challenge to any team that dared to face them. He summoned the coach, Don Gabriel and ordered him to get the team ready to play immediately.

Within an hour the team lined up in front of a roaring crowd in the stadium. Despite being early winter the weather was mild. This climate is usual in Montetriste even during winter as the city lies at the foot of the Abasko Mountains, near the Southern Sea. The Noblemen started on offense and probed the khornate defense, first going right then switching sides. The frenzied maniacs left Miguel open and the only thing Bernardo had to do was to hand the ball to him, so he can walk in for the touchdown. Bernardo however had other ideas. He ran next to him, but didn't want to give him the ball. Miguel tried to tear the ball out of his hands and the result was a loose ball. If that wasn't enough Manuel was badly injured in the fight on the line of scrimmage, having his shinbone broken in a horrible open fracture. He was carried off the field screaming profanities.
There were two fights going on. One on the line of scrimmage and one near the ball. The Noblemen were losing both. Finally the chaos worshippers got hold of the ball and The maniacs meanwhile got the ball and Aldo "The Blast" Sessa ran it forward. Two noblemen knocked him down and Bernardo tried to pass it to Carlos, but the low sailing pass was intercepted by Meatball. 0-0 half time.

Second half saw 9 Estalians trying to stop the Chaos onslaught, but they were swept aside. There was a small glimmer of hope, when Carlos knocked Meatball out near the endzone with the help of Bernardo, but the madmen powered throught. 0-1 for the worshippers of the Blood God.

Still half of the second half to go, but outnumbered the Estalians had little hope to equalize. The high kick was caught by Bernardo and he ran for the right flank. The Chaos defense did not move enough players to cover the flank. Meatball was the one that stood in the way of advance. Carlos and Meatball met again, but this time Carlos didn't go for the head. Instead he kicked the madman in the knee with his steel shod right boot. With a sickening crunch the knee bent backwards and Meatball lost conciousness from the shock. Retaliation came quick as Durzoz tried to gore Carlos, hurting him badly and blocking the way of Bernardo. Help came to the receptor in the form of Pedro, who took down the beastman and cleared the way for Bernardo for the equalizer. 1-1
