A tough game, the wood elves played like wood elves. We forced a quick score and things looked good with a Quick Snap that saw Nebullchadnezzar catch the kick. This was not the last time he would do this, but he only scored once. Things were looking good when the War Dancers knocked the ball loose and almost counter-scored. Fortunately after all the awesome leaps, dodges, pickups in 3 TZs, and more dodges, a failed GFI did them in. We recovered and scored on T8 but not without some dice rolling thanks to the never-say-die defense of the Forestales. 2nd half a High Kick allowed Nebullchadnezzar to show off his ballhandling skills and this time he did manage to score in T16. But see my comments from T8 above. The wood elves were leaving the pitch, but not fast enough and not all for good. Fortunately both War Dancers stayed out and a Pitch Invasion really messed up their 1TTD attempt. It looked like a chorf on the LOS intercepted, but it was really a misthrown pass. Well played game, both coaches played to their strengths but we were able to get the numbers advantage. The extra player really helped for fouling, and the Custard Pie was super helpful in recovering the ball in the 1st half when it was still marked by the most annoying line elf I've ever faced. Damn you, Enramao. Get off the pitch already!
