“Coach was pleased - most of the time. Patriots line fully controlled the game all along, pushing and punching bodies all around. Hightower and Mayo were filling the CAS box of Griffins, while staff was shouting from the sideline:
"Keep pounding!"

Flynn took care about the ball in the 1st half, picking up the ball, stepping back when necessary, running to the other side to protect the ball, then assisting in a block to join teammates in the pounding.
Unfortunately Griffins managed to MNG Hightower, but coach is confident he will recover for the superbowl, so the only task at hand is to actually reach the superbowl.

1st half ended with 11 griffins player able to play.

Second half Ggiffins were receiving, but botched their chance to create a crease. Patriots line held up, and hit back with a vengeance, pressuring the ball, and challanging the whole griffins squad to do some miracle. The miracle happened, when Griffins wanted to pass out of the trouble, but Siliga, the perfect patriot foot soldier intercepted the pass. Unfortunately he could not hold onto it, when Griffins blitzed him, but Matt Light, who is on his 3rd stint with the team, capitalised the opportunity. Picked up the ball, moved away into safe distance, and scored later as the game ended. He also skilled, proving the coaches rigth who trusted them, and making sure that he sticks to the team.

The only trouble is that Flynn was injured again, when he tried to lock down the remains of the Griffins. It looked like a fluke accident, was totally unexpected, and very low probability. Team doctors are still evaluating how serious is the injury, and whether he should be sent to a specialist to fix all his nagging injuries.

Next opponent is the surging Averheim, coached by FRSHMN, who beat not else than the reigning champion! Will be a great challange.
