“Very tough match-up. We received and were able to surround the opposing gutter runners with tentacles pretty quickly. We managed to keep them locked up which allowed for a quick score.

A riot pushed back the clock basically giving the Skaven a chance to score. We managed to get ourselves in a decent position, sacking the ball-carrier with a surf, injuring him, but the ball bounce left us exposed. We tried to cover up the only Gutter Runner that could possibly score, but he managed to make a couple more challenging dodges to get the game tying score.

We kicked, with a tied game, and were forced to play some solid D. We tried to lock up our opponent as best as we could. He managed to get around the corner, but we were able to flank around him with 2 GFIs and managed a pow.

The Gutter Runner missed the pick-up in a TZ, which allowed for us to 3 BD blitz him off the ball and recover it. We were able to run off and get separation. With 4 turns remaining, we pushed deep into opposing territory and managed to contain the rats not allowing them to apply pressure on the ball carrier, allowing us to stall out and get the key 2-1 win, which secured a playoff spot for our team!”
