The game was played in perfect weather, slight breeze, somwhat overcast. The first half was characterized by as slow grinding Noblemen offense not being able to punch a hole in the stalwart Ind defense, thanks to good positioning on the Ind side and bad blocking performance by the Noblemen. The Estalians found themselfs in a tight spot, but Domingo Bailarin found a hole in the Rampage defense and managed to run in for the touchdown.
With barely an time left in the half the Rampage tried to force through the left of the Noblemen, with Devaraja dancing through the defense only to be tripped by Rodrigo Gancho just before running in for the equlaizer.
Second half started off with a small contest of the fans chanting, boosting the morale of both teams. Overenthusiasm however proved to be a bad thing as an early mistake by the Rampage enabled to put the Noblemen defense to put on the pressure. The Ind team pushed on the Noblemen left once again, but the Estalians managed to knock the ball loose. After a short struggle Domingo Bailarin managed to make a break towards the endzone, but was chased down. Another scrum ensued, again with the Noblemen coming out as winners. Just before the final whistle Rodrigo walked in for the secind touchdown.
Bhubaneswar Rampage Play of the Game: Vima Taktu chasing down Domingo Bailarin to prevent a touchdown. With Shri Radha he delivered a devastating high-low hit, after which the Domingo was carried off on a stretcher.
