“The Champions faced up versus a foul Nurgle mob, including a strength 6 Spawn. We put them under pressure with an early Blitz forward. Tormentor the beast picked up but Superiore went charging in and took him down. It picked up again but Barbarus did the blitzing honours and Velocidad took the ball for an early defensive TD.
The ball then bounced off the pitch after we kicked and the Spawn was given it! Dissection had woken up and their dirty player gang fouled Barbarus in the cas box, with apo having to save him from serious damage. The Spawn and co went forward. We could slow them down but under such power we were losing big players. Another rotter fouled and fractured Diablo's skull! Our original Krox shockingly retired. Saurii were ko'd and it seemed like a perfect drive for Nurgle. But the spawn went dumb in the last moments. 1-0 half-time.

Second half we were outnumbered. Santo's protection was then taken down by a bomber (magic item)! The crowd through near their endzone but then the super agile skink somehow tripped up. It seemed we would be foiled when a beast picked up but Barbarus blitzed him down and this time Santo took his chance to score.

After that a Beast fumbled on their drive but recovered and somehow pulled off a short pass to the Spawn Somberlain. The skinks that had been stuck to him with tentacles were bashed down and this time the thing managed to keep going and score. In the mean time Velocidad dodged, when trying to get back, but tripped and died!

We go off for victorious but ready to shell out gold for replacements. Good match.
