“After the Champions suffered from Leaping Wardancers last match we were very wary of the leaping Strip Ball catcher threat these High Elves had.
The Chargerers benefited from an awful kick and touchback. Orlaith and a blitzer raced up our flanks. Then their accurate thrower Calahad pulled off an impressive long pass from halfway to Orlaith who scored the early TD.
The Elves then pinpointed a kick on to our endzone. We pushed some elves back and Santo picked up and tried to hand off to Spartacus. But the Saurus fumbled. The Elves saw their chance with one picking up the ball from in front of Spartacus and passing it to a teammate. It was looking very bad for us but Amazonia blitzed the carrier down and Santo regained the ball. The skink was then taken down once more and he just managed to get up, retrieve the ball and retreat into a cage. We also surfed the catcher when he was waiting for a catch chance. After that it was a case of advancing to score before half-time. The Elves made it touh particularly with a journeyelf cas'ing Diablo the Krox! In the end it needed a dodge and gfis for the sure footed skink to pull off the last gasp equalizer. That was a real tough half.

Second half was the tormenting leaping antics from Orlaith. We lost the ball a couple of times and was having a tricky time to make progress but then at last the leaper tripped on a leap and had to leave the field. Then things went our way and we get the victory! Fun match.”
