“Something felt weird...of that JealousGuy was certain. At first when he could only manage to push back a catcher he thought it might be a hangover. I mean it isn't everyday you win the Copper Twahnlow! What a party . But push after push after push was clue enough that something was up. Even Lions seemed to be feeling it...the Mino wasn't even singing today...just kept whineing and covering his ears...weird. And to top it off MorningSong tripped on the goalline with a RR in hand...you just don't expect that from a Copper Slipper holder.

JealousGuy kept his thoughts to himself as the Crowes went into the locker room at half time. Weirder still. The room was quiet and clear. the GREAT UNSEEN was nowhere. Everyone had expected him to come roaring out of the Void spitting bile for letting the ponces of I-House get a 1-0 lead. But nothing.Weird.

2nd half started well enough. A sweep left put BoomersStory clear and just like that (with a few injuries to boot along the way) it is all tied up. Then it got REALLY weird. In the huddle before the re-start Boomer mentioned he felt exhausted. "It was only 4 turns to punch it in but man fellas' it felt like that run took DAYS. It was so weird"

Murmurs of evil Human technology scattered about as they set up..and then there was no mistaking it...BAM...something happened...they kicked off and noticed the ref had put his whistle away as he chummed it up with the human coach...but this sense was quickly replaced by Lions Roaring in rage as the front line realized it was actually a Blitz! What the hell?!? No time to think about it as Struttin'Blues went forward and picked up the ball. But it just wasn;t RIGHT. Everyone felt it now. The CW tried to advance the ball but all of a sudden the Human blitzer remembered how to hit and kept knocking him over.
The herd went wild hitting humans wherever they stood...but couldn't get deep to score. And then it happened...final moments of the game..JealousGuy went forward and picked up the ball and broke for home. But Camo, powered by a source too mysterious to contemplate, stood up, dodged out and hit JG flush...not even thinking about how Foul his Appearance was...and that was it. A mighty clash of helmet on ball and JG had his famous claw turned in on him and was sliced from head to hoof.

JealousGuy looked skyward with the last of his ebbing strength...surely the GREAT UNSEEN wouldn't let it end like this..."I am his favourite...he has blessed me with so much...where are YOU?." But HE was nowhere. The last thing JG heard was the soft roar of Lions singing his ballad "He Hurts You 'Cause He Hurts" JealousGuys own song...his final lullabye.
