The Miners received and started the slow march down the pitch, with all going well until a couple of injuries. After a few dodges, the Miners managed to switch sides and get to safety scoring in turn 7 for 1-0.

Sadly for the Miner the ref was an Tractor fan and let the Roller stay on the pitch for the second half.

The second half saw the Small Men grind their way down the pitch, as battle raged in the centre. Players from both sides were carried off, but whilst the Miners took minor injuries, some of the Small Men players would never take to the pitch again.

The Small Men scored a the end of the second half, when the real disaster struck. The ref allowed the Roller to stay (again), the Miners failed their KO rolls leaving it 11 v 9 and Small Men won the coin toss to receive.

The Miners did what little they could, but it was a simple task for the Small Men to march up the pitch and score in overtime for the win.
