The Orcs received, picked up, ko'd a snotling, knocked down Ogres and immediately stunned Big Daddy in a foul. On the next attempt they ko'd him and the ref let them off. The Orc hitting was incredible early on. 6 players in the KO and cas boxes after just 3 turns! Including 3 Ogres, with Kendo badly hurt. They scored t4.
They did a long kick. Snotfeatures got the ball to Lucan while the Orcs charged round. Les tried to throw LLL but seemed to be boneheaded momentarily. (Rerolling boneheads kept happening in key actions for the dumb Wrestlers today.) He tossed him forward then but the legend fell and was stunned! The Orc legend blitzer Averell got the ball. We thought we had him covered as we rushed four players in front of him, with Lucan waiting for any spill. But impressively he did 4 dodges, a gfi, and a short pass which was caught for a TD! Not only that but their legend Black Orc bully badly hurt rookie Ogre Bulldog. We decided to use the apo. Bulldog came back to good effect as after a high kick catch the ball was handed off to Lucan, and Bulldog threw him forward. Lucan just managed his landing by an Orc and scored! Haystacks also ko'd the Troll. Finally a big hit.
Second half Haystacks stood dumb while 3 Ogres failed to move the Blodge stand firm Orcs on the line. A snot receiver snaked a pickup too for a bad start. The next turn the snot needed reroll to pickup, he handed off to Lucan and..Bulldog fumbled and Ko'd Lucan! Maybe Bulldog had not deserved the apo after all. The orcs took over again. A snot was cas'd and an Orc picked up the loose ball on a 5+! We at least woke up as Tom Thumb did a KO gang foul and Big Daddy killed their wrestle kicker! But no apo for him. The "Green Poets" then missed a pass. In his next block Big Daddy then did a titanic blow that appeared to kill their legendary Black Orc! What a scalp it would have been. But the apo was ready...and successful! Tom Thumb was then going for a handoff that could get us back into this match. But he disappointingly fumbled. The Orcs then did the crucial handoff play to score for 3-1.
Our draw chances were done. But Big Daddy was still raging, and he broke the neck of a rookie Orc. His first time to cause 3 casualties. While Jim Breaks smashed the ankle of their dirty player! LLL got the ball and rushed to the middle. But recklessly we had left a gap, it had 2 Ogre tackle zones on it but their agile legend blitzer made the 4+ to blitz Lucan. And gave him serious concussion! What a horror blow late in the match. Of cause we had used the apo, not saved it for legends like the Orcs did. Lucan now has AV3! But is now immune to both -AV and -S.. Les couldn't bring down their blitzer, but 2nd attempt he did. A snot recovered but again that blitzer did superb, stunning the snot. Jim tripped on a gfi and the Orc legend scored. 4-1. A lot happened today.
