“This game was incredibly intense. I was white knuckled and holding my breath starting around turn 2 of the first half. And I was on offense. There were a lot of 1d blocks in this game, but even still, my pro armor was incredible. In turn, a lucky cas in the first half + a crowd surf cas + a few ko's meant that the second half saw the Whispers with the upper hand. We also eventually managed a turn 8 touchdown, but it was very hard fought; and we used up all of Matschplanscher's re-rolls, so his turn 8 OTT attempt failed (I still am terrible at setting up defense against those. Although I specifically didn't risk my sidesteppers at that point because it was only the first half. My line-elf got killed in that OTT attempt, so, yeah.)

In the second half, the Slann quickly 2 turn scored. While there was an awful scrum, agi 5 won the day.
Then on turn 3, after the Whispers caught the ball, Peter, legendary Blitzer (Mv 8 S4 A4) leaped into 2 die the elf with the ball... and snake eyed! Behind enemy lines!

This led to a 7 man foul, that still left the ball well defended, and Peter was badly hurt.

From this point, the Whispers caged forward; and while it was fraught with leaping craziness, the Kroxigor catching the ball, and Slann generally being Slann (the halfling chef stole 3 re-rolls in the second half, and they STILL ended the half with an extra re-roll available), the Whispers managed to maintain their position and score.
