“As bad as my luck was (2nd game in a row where even seemingly good luck ended up being bad luck - like a Blitz that 1,1 first action GFI stunning key blitzer), my opponent's luck was pretty bad too, plenty of failed GFI and skull blocks, and I hate to admit it but this was won by better coaching on my opponent's part.

Two horrid mistakes come to mind: rerolling a blitz to try and avoid a 3+ dodge and failing to knock down on the reroll, then making the 3+ dodge anyway, yet failing the GFI for TD, and second, passing up on a 2-die strip ball blitz to take a 1 GFI 2 die blitz for a favorable pushback (the GFI failed, and due to my idiotic mixing up of players, it was actually only a 1 die on a Stand Firm player, which of course did not even get me the needed pushback to strip the ball). I would venture to say that this hideously miscalculated blitz is what truly cost me the game.

Still, it was a good close game due to the unlucky dice of my opponent, and nobody died and my FF didn't drop, so I guess I can't complain. Thanks for the match Petter, next time I'll be paying more attention to what I'm doing!
