“What a way to start a game. The 2 sets of travelling orc fans obviously wanted to be the 3rd team causing a pitch invasion at kick off stunning 3 each. For poor Matt Damon this was to prove costly as the big guy was stranded on the floor with paddymick caging the ball. Gulfim steps forward for a cheeky foul in turn one to KO the troll who wouldn't take anymore part in the game. If it wasn't for that I'm not sure how this game would have ended.

Paddymicks orcs looked well drilled moving swiftly around the pitch while the ravagers looked a little less silky taking their time to plan things ( obviously not that well)

Rory Best proved a handful dodging and collecting the ball for the rowdy men. It was a good fight, plenty of blocks thrown and my luck was in with injury rolls as opposed to paddy's. His mighty blows not firing. Paddy powered through the middle almost like the parting of the red sea. Second half the ravagers tried to get the td, it looked possible with a numerical advantage but after the scrum ensued paddy was able to blitz my ball carrier and before I knew it he'd elf balled it to the other side and away went his blitzer for 2-0.

After the game bakadon looked quite happy. I thought this was going to be a harsh and brutal lesson but maybe the inducements (apart from not playing a card before the game started and thus wasted) and Nuffield was on my side. Next year we'll try and be more flamboyant when we've had a little more training. For now this is a good squad and I just want them to survive.
