Nuffle is not to blame at all. He gave me a sign of will with let me choose the side and given me a blitz before the Titans were able to do a single step. It is me to blame, not controlling my Turboslugs. Because of the lack of better knowledge on how to handle various kind of situations, I made a lot of 1D Blocks. Nuffle indicated he will not support stupidity in any way... so I ended up with many situations I had to accept the single result or using my spare RR.
The peak of losing control was when Slayer Uzkul Headhunter shouting "I will blow his mind away" and I was not able to stop him, even with the knowledge he will end up within Titans. Well, he didn't blow anything but ended up surrounded by five smirky Titans.
When a couple of my Slugs got stunned by Fans invading the pitch, I felt unpleased to not be able to bring full force to the Titans on the LOS. Two turns later I’ve learned that I’m even not able to smash 3 Titans with 5 prepared Slugs. The Titan was guarding themself very well and I had to deal with 1D Blocks again.
Probably latest at this point, I should have brought the focus to another area, but thick-headed, with no other plan, we continued with what we failed before. Somehow Runner Marim Barim was able to bring the ball 8 Lines close to the TD area in turn 7 (2nd half), but standing on the border of the pitch, close to Titan's fans, not protected, but all Titans tangled with Slugs. Several pushing in the crowd allowed Titians Runner Camden Wekmar to dodge, almost struggling, out of the bulk and then pushing Marim from the pitch, where his skull got fractured.
The final laugh gave me Nuffle in turn 8 when Titans journeyman rolled a double skull and was allowed to re-roll a second double skull to finish the game – which is exactly my kind of humour.”
