“OWA rocked up to face Elves for the first time. The crowd were cheering for us. We kicked long and were set up wide. A loner elf went down trying to block a Dwarf, and then their apo had to save the life of a catcher blitzed by our Sergeant while Trollslayer Torgut Ko'd another. We advanced slightly past halfway but tried to keep a wall together. The Elves held back for a while and eventually went for it! They handed over to a Blitzer who advanced, and a Catcher just about covered him. We got men on him but he blitzed his way through. Gotrek and lino had chance to blitz him down but failed! He dodged off for an impressive score.
Terent had the ball on our next drive, and after stumbling managed to quick pass it to Jones. Jones went quickly forward into a cage. Then in the final moments dodged through the opposing line... and fell in the endzone! So despite our good hitting it was a good half for the Elves.

Second half was a more steady affair in our favour. An early cas and a KO got us off to a solid start. Then we whittled away at their lineup, eventually getting to 11 v 6. They pressured as much as they could reasonably but we eventually got the equalizer.

We produced enough hits today but didn't quite make the most of it first half, so the draw will have to do. Good work by the Elf coach, Jordel.
