“Our elves sadly did not foul better than the opponent in this one, only managing 3 measly fouls with no removals to show for them. wescha, on the other hand, had some fantastic fouls, almost removing team leader Gilvi Mythik for the game (the doc was there to patch him up thankfully) and getting a second lino before the half. Unfortunately, his hopes and dreams rested on the saw of Max Spleenripper, who we all know is only in it for a paycheck while putting in the least amount of work possible - he only deigned to play two turns of this contest, even with a bribe. The game? Well, first half the elves weaved their way upfield and had a fairly easy score to make it 1-0. Second half the Renegades started losing a few players to the ref's machinations, and the elves grabbed the ball. They were looking good to cage up but the ball carrier rolled a 1,1 on the dodge and the dark elf picked it up for a quick score. EU had three turns to win it, so they spread the field looking for options. The thrower tossed the rock to our catcher who 3+ dodged his way around the ogre, but the screen was incomplete due to another 1,1 dodge by our pro elf (get it??). Luckily the elves in contact proved impossible to put down and the wrestle blitz to get the ball was only a push, as the elves managed to dodge it in for a t16 score.”
