Week 1 - Out-of-Conference

The sunny weather quickly grew stormy as both teams took to the pitch, resulting in a sloppy, bloody, and bumbly first half, with the weather clearing just before halftime with Normandale leading 1-mil. But Miami came back strong, inflicting some injuries, and tying the score 1-all. But the real madness is what happened in the last two turns of the match, when Normandale managed to get the ball into scoring range, and Miami was somehow able to successfully 1d blitz the ball loose. Then, in an act of pure stupidity, Miami attempted to collect the ball for a long bomb, all in the hopes of scoring a touchdown to steal a win, but they bumbled the pick up, which caused the ball to bounce out into the crowd, and be thrown back in at Normandale's feet, giving them another opportunity to win the game. Thankfully they failed the pickup.
