#17 Harold Quicktree – Smashed Knee (-MA)
NCBB - Season 40
Week 5 - FBC vs Smack

A sunny day in front of 16,000 screaming fans? What more could these two teams ask for? Miami lost the coin toss, and Texas Tech elected to receive, and with the kickoff the match was underway. Texas Tech began by throwing some blocks and advancing the ball forward, and Miami responded by immediately leaping in and KOing the ball carrier. Would have been an incredible play, but one of the Sauri Who was provider part of the cage formation just happened to catch the bouncing ball in their scaly hands. The remainder of the first half was a slow grind forward by Texas Tech, coupled with some half-hearted attempts by Miami to actually get the ball. When the while blew Texas Tech was up 1-nil.

But strangely enough, Miami had gained a numbers advantage, playing 11-on-9 thanks to a KO, a Serious Injury, and a banning by the ref. But even with the advantage Miami could do little of out muscle Texas Tech defense, and in the end Miami turned over the ball along the sideline. With the last little bit of finesse Miami Lept a receiver free, getting them into the endzone before picking up the ball, collecting the ball, leaping over the defender, and passing the ball to the intended target to tall the match up to 1-all.

With Miami's numbers advantage gone, and Texas Receiving the kick off, the last few turns were a repeat of the Miami's inability to muster up any real interest in attacking the ball, and Texas Tech's great positioning. When all was said and done Texas Tech waltzed in and out with an easy 2-1 victory over Miami.

Good game.
