“What a game !
The ref and the crowd were clearly dwarves this game, as any foul of the nurgles were spotted and the fouler banned.
Taking advantages of the banned and some KO's my dwarves conduct a fair drive and logically opened the score.
The Dwarves begin the 2nd half with power play and authorized themselves to cage the rash beastman which tried to rush into their half with the ball, rather than blitzing him - the blitz was used to open the path for a blitzer, the dwarves expecting to sack the bold ball carrier the next turn and then quickly counter attack and score a second time.
And... NO ! The bold beastman with a fair composure, the ball in his gigantic drooling mouth, blitzed against the odds, moving away a dwarf sprinter and with his numerous arms pushed the remaining two dwarves to dodge his way to the endzone. A touchdown of anthology !
The 5 remaining turns were fair enough for the dwarves again in very worthwhile power play (the crowd stormed the field at the kickoff and knocked 5 nurgles down). That was easy for the blitzers and the Troll Slayers to secure a large path to the endzone, but the dwarf sprinter was very reluctant to pick up the ball (which lasted the last turns in the ugly, dripping, disgusting mouth of a mutant beastman) . After a 3 turns cleaning the ball he finally picked it up and rushed, with the hope to deliver a short pass to one of the blitzers in position to score. Was the ball still slippery ? Was it the flies around the bloaters ? Did the dwarf blitzer refuse to touch this ?
At the final whistle, the ball lieds alone on the ground in the middle of the nurgles half.
A fair draw at the end and a very interesting coach encounter.
Thanks for the crazy game, Rumanski. Meet you again with pleasure. ”
