“Revengers Of None are a formidable force. 1 +ST Blitzer, 1 +ST,+AG Blitzer, and a +ST Ogre make for a tough slog. And so it proved. We had a poor first half, where we conceded too easily and then were unfortunate with the bounce of the ball. At half time we knew it was going to be unlikely that we would win but we still had a chance, so we set up offensively. A good score brought some hope back, but with too many injury rolls resulting in KO's and not BH (must have been about 9 KO's, and 6 of them recuperated), we were unable to prevent a 3rd from the +ST,+AG monster. The opposition knew the game was won and, mindful of the death early in the game, avoided the charging finish. So, 3-2 it finished. Were it not for the unlucky bounce to the feet of one of the Blitzers, it might have been different!
