“Norse is not the ideal opponent at low teamratings, I lost this one with lack of players on pitch. My opponent started and made a few tactical mistakes on his first turn of offense, he got unlucky and dropped the ball on pick up and I was only one 2+ dodge away from getting it in one tacklezone with gutterrunners. I made a few blocks first though and did a huge mistake in not looking were the pushbacks would end up and I closed the gap between the opponents making the dodge a 4+ one instead. Needless to say, I failed it. Things looked pretty good anyway the first few turns of the half but after I blitzed the ballholder by the sideline the ball went into the crowd and they throwed it deep into my backfield. With skavens natural speed I managed to get hold of it anyway with one of my storm vermin. Now the skaven line was spready out thin though and the Norse could begin making a lot of blocks every round, this is not good for skaven and 2 players ended up BH and 4 KOed. I managed to not loose the ball but ended the half with it in my own half of the pitch. Anyway, I had some hope now, with 7 players (all of my positionals except one runner) against 10 norsemen I thought I could score a quick td with my gutterrunner. The fans didn't agree though. Of the only 34k, the most part was angry drunken norsemen and they didn't like the dirty rats so decided that they should intervene. My thrower and best storm vermin were badly hurt and the ratogre and the other storm vermin was stunned. Left with 3 players standing on my offense I could only pick up the ball and step back beyond reach of the norse. 10 vs 5 is not good, especially not when you got av 7 and all opponents got block. The norse blocked me down, one by one when they scored I had only 2 players left on pitch. Offense, with 3 turns to go, no problem for skaven.
Unless they only got a rat ogre and two linerats without skills that is. I had absolutely no chance but the norse were out of rerolls and couldn't score either.
1-0 for the norse... without players it doesn't matter how fast you are.

I wish Delta good luck in future matches in the tournament and I think I keep the Skaven team, maybe I want to use them again some time (after all I didn't suffer any lasting injuries, only 6 BH)”
