And all of a sudden, I'm left with a ton of niggled players who may or may not show up, a tree who's made the first half of maybe 3 games in his career, and a massive desire to punch the computer for the frustration they've caused me!!! So much time and effort, hopes and dreams to be the best ever, all for naught...

*sobs*

He blitzed off the opening kickoff, niggling my dauntless/block/guard with the very first block of the game, turn 1 hasn't even started yet. He has a blasted passblocking wight who manages to get in the way and disrupt half my passes, he has better luck picking up the ball with agi 3 in the rain than I do...it just was a terrible way for this team to go out. They might have convinced the coach to keep trying, but then yet another of the team's guards ages a niggle on his third skill. At this point I know the team's toast, it's just not fun anymore. *sigh*

I'll sleep on matters tonight, not make a rash retirement in the heat of the losing moment. Maybe tomorrow I'll decide to keep on plugging, but with three niggles and a -str, the future is looking decidedly less than rosy.”
