The Tactic for this game could only have been to leave as few Elfcastle players able to play as possible but that would have involved the Undead (who appeared to be unawake too) actually laying their hands on some of the opposition players which just failed to happen.

Bramble was allowed to get into plenty of space while we held the ball but a good move from the elfcastle midfield and even a slightly wayward pass from Bowyer wasn't enough to prevent bramble having all the time in the world to pickup the loose ball and score.

The expected (and somewhat typical) Elf 2 Turn TD to open the second half and the match was beyond the slow and steady Boys from old Splatford allthough they did show good spirit it clawing back a token score in the dieing moments.

10 Sportsman points to Balint for a game well played (taunting and fouling are allpart of the game - esp with GTR) and he even stopped with the foulding under GTR on turn 5 or 6 in the 2nd half. something which i am afraid i cannot say i manged to do as with my fouling head on i got carried away and continued until turn 7 which was an action met with distaste from my opponant.”
